Contagious diseases can potentially spread by means of transport, including air-traffic.
The physiological and technical conditions on board of aircrafts make the transmission
of infections very unlikely. Medical reasons, national and international legislation
prevent air-transport of contagious passengers. However, if contagious diseases should
occur during a flight, then several reactions are required. Has a previous flight
of an infected passenger been detected, the tracing of contact persons is difficult.
Key words
contagious diseases - aircrafts - transmission - passengers - tracing of contact persons
